When Good Comics Happen to Bad Places

Here at Black House Comics we love newsagents. They were the only place you could buy Fangoria or Starlog when we were kids and they while they don't really measure up against your local comic store they are one of the few places that do sell comics and support our industry.

That said, having sold quite a few books through newsagents recently, we've noticed a few things. One of them is that sometimes they don't really think about where they are putting books on the shelf.

See this photo as an example.

See the blog for the editor's whinge about this placement but the rest of us thought this was an opportunity to have some fun.

We want you, our loyal readers to take a photo of the weird and wonderful places agents place our books. The more inappropriate the better. Special points for any agent who bundles After the World in a pack with Hannah Montana Magazine.

The best submitted photo will win a prize pack of all four issues of The Dark Detective and both issues of After the World. Send entries to info@blackhousecomics.com and don't forget to include your contact details. Our boss Baden will be sole judge and his decision will be final.

All entries will be posted for you enjoyment and bewilderment.
