FBI agent, Justin Barnett, is on the trail of the vicious blood-drinking serial killer dubbed ‘Dracula’ by the press. As Barnett closes in a mysterious illness starts to peak while unnatural storms lash the nation. Barnett captures Dracula just in time to see the world end by tempest and plague. Suddenly Dracula’s ravings about a new world order under Lovecraftian gods no longer seems so insane. With Dracula’s escape Barnet is faced with the choice of giving up the attempt to retain any level of justice in this bizarre new world or continuing their vendetta beyond the apocalypse.

Introducing Justin Barnett whose life is haunted by a vicious serial killer named Dracula by the press, because of his habit of draining his victims of blood. When Justin meets a psychic at the fair there are hints that the world as he knows it has not long to live. Meanwhile, elsewhere, an actress named Gilly has her own encounter with the uncanny with a whiff of Lovecraftian menace about it. What is the connection to these two events? Twilight Age 1 Abandonment 

Justin Barnett has been drawn to Savannah Georgia on his hunt for ‘Dracula’ – the serial killer who drains his victims’ blood. But Justin finds himself with more than a crazed killer to contend with as a plague that has been developing over the previous weeks suddenly reaches apocalyptic proportions. As he closes in on his quarry he finds himself alone as his team succumbs to the sickness and the world around him falls apart.

Twilight Age 2 Damnation 

Justin Barnett has cornered the serial killer ‘Dracula’ and manages to capture him. But now that he has, what will he do with his prisoner, since civilisation has crumbled in the aftermath the apocalyptic Twilight Plague. As Justin takes his prisoner to Atlanta through the nightmare landscape of a devastated Georgia he learns something of the Dracula’s motivations. Is it all just a mad fantasy of the serial killers or are the Lovecraftian Old Ones truly about to re-emerge in this crazed new world?

Twilight Age 3 The Blood Factory

Dracula has escaped, civilisation seems at an end and Justin Barnett heads for home in Philadelphia to see if any of his family has survived, though the odds are against it. On his way he rescues an lunatic dressed as a Native American who seems intent on becoming his unlikely sidekick. Meanwhile, in Atlanta, a huge naked scar-covered man emerges from the ruins of a cathedral to embark upon some mysterious agenda of his own. Weeks after the plague has ended the actress Gillian – from the 0 issue – is the only remaining survivor of the town of Secret Beach along with her young surfer lover. When she persuades him to leave for a bigger centre they arrive in Savannah only to run into Dracula.

Twilight Age 4 Resurrection 

Gillian escapes from Dracula’s ‘blood factory’ only to run into cultists in Atlanta who seem to be determined she will not escape her destiny as a sacrifice. Meanwhile, Justin and his bi-polar companion, Dances with Men, have exhausted every hope of finding any of his family alive decide to head back down south. Dracula has been picking off the survivors in Savannah and a group of them have decided the place is too dangerous and they will leave. But Dracula is not about to let that happen. The mysterious scarred man from the previous issue has recovered from his wounds and goes in search of weapons as his agenda becomes clearer. All the threads are being drawn together for a showdown in the final issue of our first story arc.

Twilight Age 5 Sacrifice 

The scarred man squares off against the Lovecraftian horror raised by the cultists who have captured Gillian. Gillian, Justin and Dances with Men arrive in Savannah too late to prevent Dracula’s final act of terror and set off in pursuit of him. A deadly game of cat and mouse ensues which our heroes will be lucky to survive. Black humour, tentacled monsters, hooded cultists, car chases, explosions, a fight to the death. This one has it all.
